Chez is a Visual Artist based in South London. Her practice focuses on the creation of vibrant portals to inspire reflection and escapism. Chez’s work has been featured in the likes of Elle Decoration and she has a growing portfolio of public and private commissions. She has exhibited with Milton Keynes Gallery and Blueshop Cottage, and was chosen to take part in the first ever London Mural Festival in 2020.

She creates enticing, accessible work that embodies the joy in contemplation and wonder that can often be lost in a modern, largely secular society, and evokes the sense of childlike fantasy we all crave. Chez wants to bring the mystical into the mainstream by navigating the psychedelic with balanced precision, symmetry and vibrant colour.

With the application of gold leaf detailing in her paintings, Chez is able to bring the transcendental into reality. She creates tactile paintings that resemble ancient relics - like small symbols of worship dug up from a psychedelic ruin.
